Smoky Mountain Rowing Center
SMRC is a community rowing club focused on providing the best rowing experience in the scenic foothills of East Tennessee . The club boathouse is located in Louisville, Tenn. and is convenient to the greater Knoxville area including Maryville, Oak Ridge and Farragut.

SMRC, a member of US Rowing, offers recreational and competitive rowing programs for adults and youth. The club is dedicated to helping its members get exactly what they want out of rowing – whether it be for exercise, fun, competition or meeting lifelong friends and teammates.

To help individuals determine if rowing is the right sport for them, SMRC offers a unique and free “Learn to Row” experience. This two hour discovery class introduces the required skills for successful sweep rowing in eight and four-person boats, while providing a great workout and lots of fun.
